ROOT CANAL RE-TREATMENT
Nonsurgical re-treatment of endodontic therapy is most commonly completed when root canal therapy is unsuccessful. We offer a comprehensive root canal re-treatment service to ensure that the re-treatment is performed efficiently, effectively, thoroughly and comfortably. When root canal therapy fails, this is usually from leakage, which is from the top part of the tooth, typically due to decay or loss of the restoration (crown, inlay or onlay). Leakage allows bacteria and irritants into the tooth which can get to the end of the tooth in as little as 7 days even with the roots filled. While gutta percha and sealer is placed into the roots, it does not seal well against a deluge of liquid and bacteria. Re-treatment involves the removal of existing root filling material, re-cleaning the canals and placing new filling material.
SEDATION OPTIONS
Relax. No really, relax. As a comprehensive dental center, we also offer comprehensive sedation dentistry services that range from light (non-IV) to deep (IV) sedation including general anesthesia, administered by a board certified Anesthesiologist, when necessary.
COST CONSIDERATIONSThe cost considerations for endodontic-related treatments should include the specific treatments to be performed in addition to sedation fees when indicated. We accept all PPO dental and medical insurance plans and our office offers affordable financing for credit qualified patients.
